'Cause we all just wanna be big rockstars and Live in hilltop houses driving fifteen cars
Danny sang. His voice was quite good, considering her wasn't in a band or anything. He hadn't even taken any lessons. He was just naturally good.Danny smiled. His straight white teeth were clean like always. His plaid flannel shirt was neat, for he had had Kay iron out all the wrinkles before they left home. He wanted to look nice on the first day at a new place. Kaylee however had made no effort to dress up. She had just thrown on her normal, black tank. Her faded light blue jeans matched well with the shirt. Their many holes proved she had had them for a while. Danny looked at his sister as she sung the next part of the chorurs.
The girls come easy and the drugs come cheap We'll all stay skinny 'cause we just won't eat And we'll hang out in the coolest bars In the VIP with the movie stars
Kay gestured for her brother to finish. He had a much better voice than her, and she didn't really feel like singing. Though she had to sing Rockstar's chorus..who couldn't??
Every good gold digger's Gonna wind up there Every Playboy bunny With her bleach blonde hair And well...
Danny beat his hands on the steering wheel of his 2005 Dodge-Ram Power Wagon. The red exterior was covered in mud from the ride up. The small black trailer that bumped along behind, was plastered with mud also. Though it was barley noticeable against the glimmering black paint. Both sibling waited for that last part of the chorus, and them screamed it out loud.
Hey, hey, I wanna be a rockstar Hey, hey, I wanna be a rockstar
The sound of their voices rattled around inside the truck, then out the windows, which, were now open due to the heat that consumed the two teens. Though it was kind of chilly out, it got exceptionally hot inside a car that you have been shouting and singing in for the past few hours. Danny turned down the radio till it was just barly noticeable.
See thats why I love long rides. We are bonding more now, right??
A joking laugh filled his voice as he spoke. Danny turned his head from the road to look at his sister, though he soon regretted saying the bonding thing. Kaylee shrugged. Crossing her arms she turned to look out the window. He tricolored hair whipped around her face. She quickly grabbed he hat of the car floor and placed it on her head. Still ignoring her brother she closed her eyes. Danny had fallen silent. His joking smile faded, and he returned his attention to the road. The rest of the ride was silent. No one talked. Danny didn't even turn the radio back up. He just lat it stay where you could barely hear it, though if you tried it was possible to make out he words. Danny almost jumped when he saw the sign for Whispering Creek Stables. He took his hand of the steering wheel, and gently shook Kaylee's shoulder.
Kay......Kay! Wake up we're there.
Danny spoke softly to his sister. She was already pissed at him and he didn't want to make her madder.
He pulled the car in to the stables driveway, and turned to where he assumed the Main Offices were. Being the older brother he had to speak to someone.

Noora trudged across the stable yard pushing a wheel barrel full of clean bed shavings. She was headed toward the stable to fill her horse's stall. her long curly hair was pulled back in a messy bun and hair was hanging around her face. it was also sticking out in many places. She looked up when she heard a grubling on a truck driving up the drive way. Sure enough a truck apeared. Setting teh wheel barrel down, she brushed some of the hair from her face. New people where arriving every day here. they would probably need help settling in. As far as Norry knew, she was alone here, no staff members. There might be some out riding or maybe just some hwere around teh stable, but she could handle this. Besides, at school she was the popular rich brat, but she really didnt like being it. She had followed the advice of a friend (who was no longer her friend) and practically made her foster parents go broke buying all the name brand cloths. Then, even worse, she wore a mini skirt, belly shirt, belly ring, and hoop earings. She had practically looked like a hooker, but it brought attention to her and imdeatly made her the most popular in the school. Although she desperatly wanted to show everyone what she was really like, her 'friend' had told her she would comit social suicide and that she had to stay like the brat she was pretending to be. Now, it was too late to make everyone think she was the nice person. they wouldnt believe her.
She tucked more loose hair behind her ears, and looked around for a place to sit to wait for the people. She moved the wheel barrel off to the side, then sat down on the fence. Leaning her hand on her knee, she huffed. She was determined to make these people know the real her. Slowly she was trying to build up a new reputaion. The loose dark brown hair was blowing about, but she wasnt paying attentio. She wa busy waiting for the people.
