As Laken climbed out of the truck, then walked around to the back of the trialer, she carefully unloaded the ramp. As she called out to her horses, she put her hand on the rump of the horse closest to her, and the onyl horse that had a possible chance of kicking her. As she backed him out of the trialer, she gave her 16 hand high thorougbre a pat. Walkin back intot the trialer, she unclipped her 13 hand high shetland mare, Sugar Backing her down the ramp, she gave Sugar a kiss on the head, and a treat Sugar was by far the smalest horse in the trialer, and even though she iddnt like trialers, she handled the situation perfectly. Ting Sugar up next to JD, her througbred, she went back intot ehtrialer. Thsi time, she untied her 14 hand high welsh cross, and back him down. He took a scent of the enviorment, then as Laken lead him around to be tied up next to Sugar, Laken noticed that her youngest and crazest horse, Just a Dream, aka Jd was snorting, pawing the ground and tosing the head. As Laken tied Baxter, her welsh cross up, she walked ove to JD. He was probably just now relizing they were in a diffrent place. As he whinnied, Laken stoked his head, then gave him a pepermint. That seemed to calm him down and he precieded in only smelling , hearig and looking at his new enviornment. As Laken walked ack into the trialer to unload her hue tack trunk, which contained verything she needed for her horses in it, except saddles, and even some of the stuff she needed, she pushed the heavy item out. Walking back intot eh trialer, she picked up her two saddles. One was extremely worn down, the other slightly better. The extrememly worn down one had been her moms, and the newer one had been a present from her mom. They were both still too big, but Laken would eventually grow into them. As Laken set the saddles ontop of the trunk, she went back in for the remaining stuff: a duffle bag, a back oack, and a sute case. Pulling the items out, she checked the trialer to make sure nothing was left, set the sute case on top of the jinormus tack truck, the duffle bag on the right side of that, the saddles teh left side of the sute case, and the back pack on her back. As she pushed all of the things into the stable hall, she quickly jogged back to her horses. Untieng them all, she waved by to the driver of the trialer, a friendly vet who so kindly offered to drive Laken here. The vet was a sweet young lady, who had just started her career and Laken was going ot miss terribly. There was only a select few people Laken missed. They were her Mom, her grandma, Jakie, the vet who drive her here, and Sam, a seventeen year old boy who was the best friend she ever made. Oh well. She still wrote letters to him, but he never did respond. However, Laken still missed him terribally. He was the only freind se made on her jornies. She had pictures of him, and would probably keep them too. As her eyes clouded up, she said to herself 'suck it up you baby' ,but she hated leaving jackie. Jackie had given her her cell phone number, and promised to keep it on at all times, with her so that whenever Laken called, Jackie could be there. Laken already had the number memorized by heart, and she still remembered that she was supposed to call Jackie as soon as she got settled in. As Laken lead her hores into there empty stals all in a row, she let a tear escape her eye. Another person she loved slipped through her fingers.
