Personality:Ashley is your typical shy girl. Not always the one to say the first hello to but thats her way. She keeps to herself a lot of the time, maybe because of her past. She can trust others but it takes a lot to get her to, for she has been back-stabbed too may times by her own friends, and lied to by people she though she could trust. One thing she cannot stand is people who walk around with there noises in the air thinking they know it all or are all that. At times she considers herself a loner. If you really take the time to get to know her you will realize that she is not the shy girl you though she was; or you take the time to understand why she is who she is today, you will actually see who she is. Ashley actually has a dry sense of humor to her and is very outgoing. Horses are her passion though. She loves them and loves to work with them and does well with anything she does. No matter if it be mucking stalls, training, lessons, etc. She has her off days as like anyone else. If you need something done ask her it is done usually correct, neat, and usually no questions asked.

History:A brisk January day was coming, darker than dark outside the bedroom window, crystallized over with snow as the north winds blew. Ashley rolled over to her side and looked to her alarm clock, it read 4:30am. She sighed and though about getting up. She needed to do her barn chorus before school started at 7:30am. She threw the covers up and over herself rising she slipped on her barn jeans, and an old shirt. She threw her hair back and made her way downstairs. She slipped on her mucking boots and threw a jacket over herself as well.
As she walked to the barn, the snow was to her knees so she had to plow her own path and fight with the blowing, drifting snow that the north winds where creating. She reached the barn, brushed herself off and turned the lights on. The four horses they had poked there heads out of their stalls, each welcoming her with their own nicker. "Hey there everyone, morning to you as well." she spoke as if they understood her. Mixing up their morning grains she then placed each one into the required stall. Now going back to check buckets she began to take them out.
She had emptied and filled three of the stalls and now the fourth was left. She had walked in like any other given morning and unclipped the bucket as it rested on her knee and she took a hold of it. Emptying it and then refilling it she brought it back to the stall. She rested it again on her knee as she re-clipped it to the wall. When she stepped back and looked back she caught a hoof right in her left leg as she fell back and landed hard against the wall of the stall. Her shoulder had popped out again and the stitching tore and now her leg was in pain as well.
Now she managed to crawl her way out of the stall and get to the tack room and cover herself off. But now she was also stranded there because of the time of year it was. All she could hope for was that the stable hand Ty came early. Now 7:00am rolled around and still she had not come in, her father had gotten worried and went to check on her. Calling to her and hearing a call he followed and found her in the tack shed. He quickly rushed to her side and tried to ease the pain. He knew then and there she had done damage to her upper leg and needed it check out and also he saw the bloodstain on her shirt. She had tore her stitched as well.
Example Post: Three years ago to this date was when Ashley had found out she shattered her upper left leg. A steel plate and a few pins and screws where put in. Four years after she had fallen off a new schooling horse and tore her shoulder. That was all past events this was now present. Ashley had pushed herself to learn again to trust horses, to trust people. After doctors said that she would be unable to ride again, she beat the odds. Now they told her if she was to get hurt one more time it would paralyze her, putting her in a wheelchair, so far she has beaten that and still healthy.
Ashley gave a small sign as she looked to her horses stall as Ireland poked his head out. Her riding gear and all other equipment was already loaded into the two stall horse trailer all she had to do was get Ireland ready for his dreaded ride. After some time Ashley walked out with Ireland dressed in all blue, traveling gear on as she lead him into the trailer. A horse like Ireland hated long trips but always loaded easily and unloaded he just did not find confindment to his liking. Both Ashley and Ireland had no choice there old stables Clear View was going out of business so they had to move. Ashley then sat in the passengers seat as her father started up the truck and drove off to a new stables he had seen in the newspaper.
During the whole ride to the new stables Ashley staired out the window at the fast land of open plains, mountains, pasture lands, farm lands, fields, and forest. She had looked to her father as she still was pleading with him to allow her to stay where she was, why did they have to leave, travel so far away. She knew she would never like this place, she would not make any friends she would be miserable. Her father shook his head as he told her every reason for the move, it would be better for her, a good change.
Ashley had then looked out as she seen a sight she had not seen in quite some time. What looked to be like a well layed out riding school. Ashley soon saw the sign that read. 'Welcome to Maple Creek ' a small slight smile came on her face as she watched as they drove up to the centre and parked. Everything looked so neat and off to the side big bold black letters on a white building read 'Office' Ashley gave a sigh as she got out of the truck and walked to the office. She gave a knock on the door and waited to see if she would hear a responce so she could enter. When nothing was heard she slowly opened the door and looked in. "Hello, anyone here?"
When there was no sound Ashley turned around and went back to the trailer muffling something under her breath. The cries of the horses in the feilds could be heard but the sound of hooves thrashing about and frantic cries over came the welcoming nickers. The small two horse trailer rocked back and forth as Ireland pawed and stomped his hoof. "Easy there boy"Ashley spoke as he father got out of the truck and helped her lower the ramp/ Ashley quickly hopped in and tapped Ireland's hindquarters just to let him know she was there. She began to unclip his line and attach another matching piece of blue to him. She clicked her tongue and moved him back and out of the trailer and then tied him to the outside. He was quite a good looking gelding. Ashley then sat on the trailer waiting for someone to come.
