Example Post: As Laken rode Jd down the ring, he tossed his head a few times. He wanted to go faster then this boring old trot they were doing When Laken finally sat and gave the signal, he took off. he was going way to fast, and when Laken pulled back on the bit, he ignored her. Laken wanted him under control, and she was a tough fighter, so she pulled back hard. Just a Dream slowed his pace, but it was still moderatly fast. It was fine for Laken, though, cuz she knew she wasnt going to get aything slower. As they finished two laps, she turned Dream down the diagonal, and made him do a flying lead change. As he executed the change overly fast and some what slopely, he tried to pick up the pase, but was slowed by Laken. After a couple laops on this side, Laken stopped. She had finished the flat part of her work out and was moving on to jumping. Very excited, Dream pawed at the ground, tossed his head and tensed his muscles. As Laken gave the signal to trot , he picked up his hooves, tuked his head, and a stride before the small one foot jump, took off. He was a good jumper, so he cleared the small fance with ease, landing a stried on the otehr side, but that was not how it was supossed to be done. As Laken turned him at the trot to the same fence, he broke into the canter two strides before the jump, and over jumped it, taking off at teh right place, and landing at the right place, but just clearing it by about one foot. He was definatly warmed up. As Laken turned him toward a three foot fence, he broke into a canter, took off a tad bit early, and tucked up over the jump. He still cleared it by about a foot, and as Laken turned him at the canter to another slightly higher three foot fence, he picked up hisd feet, tuched his head, and flew over it. They were now doing a course, and were headed to a three foot oxer. As he tucked up again, an took off soring over the tiny obstacle, he landed, ready to turn toward the in and out. As they aporached, he got ready for the sudden take off after the first jump of the pair. His muscles bunched, his whole body collected, he took off over the first one, landed inbetween then imeadiatly took off for the second one. His strong legs launched him into the air, over the fence, and landing on the other side, a foot to spare. As He cantered to the final jumps, a set of three jumps in line, each jump higher ten the one before it, two strides in between, he collected himself, and as he aproached the first jump, roase into the air, a few inches to spare. At the second slightly higher one, he cleared the jump with a few incehs to spare, and as they cantered toward the third, he picked uo his pace, then launched himself into the air, clearing the standards, and landing gracefully on the other side. A Laken pulld him uo, then started to cool hi out, he was upset they couldnt do more jumping, but was happy with his and Lakens preformance.
